*(Berserk)* 🥚👹 *Kentaro* *Miura* *(1966-2021)* 🕊️ In all honesty here, this animation style has grown on me. I think it *genuinely* suits the Berserk universe *perfectly.* I wouldn’t mind if they *CONTINUE* to use this style of animation, and “apparently” it’s much “easier/quicker” to produce, which is *fine* with me! Hopefully, and I mean *HOPEFULLY* they’ll continue the adaptation as soon as possible… we’re extremely overdue. Sound production, animation, and writing is 👨🏻‍🍳🤌🏼 I’m happy to see his masterpiece continued, which I have *faith* in his close friend(s) and studio that his story will be continued exactly as *Miura* imagined it. As a *whole,* Berserk is absolutely *PHENOMENAL!* It’s *ONE* of the *GREATEST* manga stories ever created. Thank you, *Miura.* 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Ok, terrible animation aside, the voice acting is very good

This looks like some 2015 cell shading not triple A mediocre 7/10 playstation exclusive 40$ game cutscene than profesional animated production by renown studio. I skiped 2016 berserk for own sanity and wow I couldnt bear more than 50 secounds of it.

The almost 20 year old ps2 game had more graphicly impressive scenes than this.

Looking back at this today, I somewhat believe that Dragonslayer became much lighter since Grunbeld turned to a dragon, resulting Berserker to be more nimble while dealing more damage with Dragonslayer. But I still stick to the part where it’s still just a giant slab of iron on a hilt and Berserker just wields it as is.
